John Gillespie has been designing Tweed for top end Scottish manufacturers, retailers and estates for many years and has a wealth of experience as well as an excellent archive of patterns to use as inspiration for new designs.

Tartan

Tartan is an iconic part of Scottish heritage and its continued development evolves this living history. For over 30 years, John has been designing new tartans for family and corporate use as well as commemorating events, regions and districts.

From initial brief through to final design and registration with The Scottish Register of Tartans, John’s knowledge and understanding of the process will make it a very easy and enjoyable experience. 

Throws

Gillespie Designs can create throws to your personal specifications, taking into consideration; colour, size, pattern and quality.
